Has anyone used it? Oldmanandhistoy 05-15-2007, 05:37 PM Hi Bigz1, Never heard of this quick change collet before sounds interesting; I would like to have a close up to see how it works or a description form some one who has one. I am at the moment buying up cheap Kress routers so I can leave the cutter in each one and just quick change the spindle instead. Will look into a tool changer in the future but for now it works fine for lighter work with the 900W Kress routers. If you are referring to the tool changer yes I have. Down side to the system is the fact that it is limited to 10 000 rpm and I need the speed (I like speed :D ). But if I eventually double the speed going 3 flute on the cutters would get round the RPM problem(if it is a problem?). Oldmanandhistoy 05-15-2007, 05:57 PM I have cutting speeds at present of 6m/min on my X axis and will be upgrading my Y to keep up very soon so for me 10 000rpm just would not be quick enough.
