One positive thing that the money will bring about, the Anti-Republician Global Weather Controller. Sorry but I couldn't resist as I read a site last night claiming the Republicians actually had this device. We can only hope that all the data will sometime in the future actually make sense to someone with a more level head and give us a better understanding of meterology on a global scale. Of course with the bias in much of the data it may end up being useless still :(

Now I have to agree with this whole heartily. Al Gore as a senator and later VP did hear a lot of expert testimony/opinions and learned much, problem with that is ANYONE with an agenda only listens to the opinions of the people that agree with them. As to the celebs, OK they feel they are using their media power to push a cause they believe in. Fine I guess they think it is a moral imparitive. That isn't to say I can't help but think "Who pulled your string?" when they do. People pay them a lot of money to do one thing, act;produce;sing.
