Hi, I've not posted here before so not sure if I'm following protocol or not.

I'm looking for a full sized, used, tuned-up 3-in-1. I certainly don't need to hold <0.001 but don't want to have to rebuild to hit an acceptable range.

I currently have a Busy Bee 2229 but really don't like not being able to raise and lower the mill head so that's my first need in a machine.

I also find that the dials are pretty useless because of backlash, my own lack of skill, etc., so DRO is a big preference.

Finally, I really hope to find a way to increase my working range so from that point of view a Shopmaster would be best but maybe something like a Smithy with an extended table would be fine too.

I really don't believe I could handle CNC though and because I'm on a modest disability pension, the cost would likely be beyond reach anyway.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
