OF those of you that have built your own cnc wood router, are any of you using them to cut cabinet parts? If so, i would be interested to know a few details about your machines and what software you are using.
Thanks
Dan
No,
I am specifically looking for people who are cutting frameless or faceframe cabinet parts for kitchen and bath cabinetry, commercial cabinets, etc.

eCabinet Systems (http://www.ecabinetsystems.com/ecab_new/pages/ecab_software.htm)
Check out the link above. Very nice software for makeing cabinets. And its ffree. Only problem is it only outputs g-code to the newer thermwood routers. Cant fine a translator to use with my machine. You could still use it to generate a cut list then just draw it up quickly in autocad or turbocad etc. Will do furniture now too. Very powerfull program if you take the time to learn it

Actually, I am already using the ecabinet software for my cutlisting, sheet layout, and are cutting the parts on a sliding table saw, but as you said, have been unable to find a way to use this software with a 3rd party solution. Ecabinets has said it only works with Thermwood as you have said. Thanks for the input though.
We are using Ecabinet since about a year, we have a Thermwood 40, and it's working great together. If you are interested we could machine parts for you.
