any suggestions on programming a tapered hole in conventional programming?i know its easy enough but having a brain cramp.

If a lathe, it is G1 first diameter X?? to second diameter X?? and new Z??

Goto your 'mill' start page and toggle through options... You'll have to program the hole as a 360 degree arc... If you're going to use multiple holes then do this step as a subroutine and call it up on another program...

My program kept crashing so I couldn't find it under the automated routines but if you look, I'd bet money it's an option on one of the start pages at the bottom...

Otherwise, if you meant regular G-code, I don't have a clue... It's so stinkin' easy in conversational that I never bothered to learn the hard way...
