Well after 2 years of having my 2005 El Dorado Bridgemill in the crate and after our move to Denver was complete, I finally made good use of the machine. I followed the many instructions about checking and cleaning everything, new spindle oil, a magnet, and cleaning everything spotlessly!

We are remodeling an old warehouse and the front part of it will be our retail showroom. We have new windows with a very deep projection and each of these windows has a very cool M16 halogen fixture on a dimmer. The mounting holes were cut a bit too large so I needed to machine 6 mounting bezels for them out of aluminum stock.

Everything was fine! I am very impressed with this machine. WHile I am not a machinst by trade, everything worked properly and the tolerances were fine for me and my applications.

The parts I made are bezels for some M16 Halogen lamp holders for our new ceramic gallery. We designed very deep windows that will also funtion as small display areas. Ther are six deep windows that each have a very cool M16 hologen lamp holder controlled by a dimmer. The lamps are the aluminized back M16 halogen spots. Unfortunately the mounting holes were too large for the fixtures so I designed these bezels to go over the over sized holes, retain the fixture by a capture nut, and then get mounted inside each deep window on the lintel. The backs were machined out to enclose the wiring connections.
