Hi all, I just joined here. I've been a tool & die maker for a little over 20 years now, been doing the CNC thing for about 13 years. I just recently purchased myself a Tree 325 w/Dynapath 10 control, I have started a little business of my own & got a good deal on this machine. Just got it wired yesterday & all seems well with it, my question is, what postprocessor for MasterCam would work best with this control?

From what I've learned about the machine so far, it seems like it was a good choice & an even better deal, I've been reading the manual & like some of the options so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that his member name here? I looked through the member section & didn't see that name.

Search "mike mattera" on members list. I just tried it and a bunch of his posts showed up.

Hi there

I didn't read a clear question from you about your Dynapath.

Glad to hear you like your DynaPath....I also have a Delta 10, upgraded to a 20 (on a Clausing/Kondia mill) so I can 'drip feed' it. I've got mine to do lots so far but still lots more to learn. I'm fairly new to CNC. I use the post processor in Mastercam 9, as is, & upload via cable....seems OK.

Thanks dogstar, I got a post processor to work, a little editing & it works great. Where did you get you dyna 20 that you upgraded to? I've been thinking of doing this as I have some rather large programs that need to be DNC.

I bought the upgrade-board directly from Dynapath...talk to Paul Barnhardt
<barnhardtp@dynapath.com>. tel (248) 488-0440 They'll buy back your old board & credit your VISA acct after they receive your old board & test that it's OK.

That's interesting, I didn't know that. Are there any advantages other than being able to DNC? How hard was it to change? And if you would, what was the price approximatley?
