I have a part to engrave and need the Lucida Calligraphy font which I don't have in any of my software. Anyone?

The Lucida Calligraphy font was included in a lot of Microsoft's offerings in the last decade. This list includes titles such as Access 97 SR2, Greetings 99, Home Publishing 99, Office 2000 Premium, Office 97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a, Office Professional Edition 2003, PhotoDraw 2000, Picture It! 2000, Picture It! 2002, Picture It! 98, Publisher 2000, Publisher 97, Publisher 98, and TrueType Font Pack. If you have one of these applications you should have what you're looking for. Do a search for lcallig.ttf.

Switcher, is that program free now? It used to be $100. I had a demo of it about 8 years ago, limited to 30 saves or something like that.

The program is still $100.

When you start the program a registration form says (Trial) Max.30 days, or 100 times used.

It looks like a very good program, could be very useful.

Hint:
Also here is a little hint, 2 forms pop-up when you start the program, The "Registration Form", & behind that is the actual program, the reg. form is on top but you can still see & click on the actual program, while the reg. form is still open & you click on the actual program, for every click it counts against your 100 times used, so just register or simply close out the reg. form (or don't click the form, like I did (nuts) ).

Unzip the font and copy and paste it to your "Windows\Fonts" or "Winnt\Fonts" folder. After you paste the font file into the "Windows\Fonts" folder the font should be available to all of your Windows applications.

That worked!! I copied it into the directory then used the demo TTF to DXF. That worked out great. Thanks!!

And thanks to all those who posted links to the TTF to DXF conversion apps. The OutlineArt converter was one I hadn't seen before.

Most true Windows applications know to "look for" and have access to all of the fonts in the "%Windows%\Fonts" folder once they are there. You should be able to use the Lucida Calligraphy font in almost all of your applications now. Check it and see. ;)
