How do you rotate a part when nesting?

at the bottom of the screen, there is a toolbar. Next to the letter "A", it has the degree of rotation. Just tell it how much you want the selected part to rotate. Next to that is your X and Y mirror. this is a quick and easy way to flip and mirror parts 180 degrees.

EDIT: you can also use your arrow keys to slowly change the angle. Make sure while you are nesting you click on the part you want to move. You can drag a box around all of them if you want to rotate them all.

Once you have a part turned the way you like how do you keep it that way for additional copies?

just select the part, and right click on it, then on the menu that comes up, click duplicate.

Edit: you can save the modified part as a part file, and next time open the same modified part and re-array as needed, or just do a full array of them, etc. and save that as a part file.

click on those, it will mirror the part in either X or Y, or both together.

The arrow keys move the part around for me, instead of rotating the part. I tried holding every button on the keyboard while pushing the arrows, no effect.

Also, I can't seem to select with a box. What gives?

Make sure the "Edit Contour Properties" button is down, first. Then you should be able to draw a box around the part that you want.

You should also make sure you have V4.25 or newer downloaded. Some older versions won't allow these options.

I figured it out, its the '<' and '>' keys that rotate the part. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
