Hi everyone,

Newbie here! I'm a mechanical engineer and I am currently in the process of builing a High Precision shop for the pharmaceutical industry mostly and have capability of mold machining.
I would really appreciate your advise on which brands are the best in performance, parts and service.

I'm looking at CNC Vertical Mill 5 axis, CNC Lathe and Wire EDM.

I was considering Haas, or Mazak and Mitsubishi on the EDM

PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

I would take a look at daewoo I've seen there mills for a couple of years no complaints good options and great price the lathes are exceptional I can't say enough about the lathes total value and a workhorse you can't go wrong with the lathe. The mills seem a little cheap in construction but the controller more than makes up for it. and the price. buy low make money.

Thanks for the info. I'll be looking into it right now.

For budget purposes for my business proposal, what are good numbers to expect in the next two years in revenue for this type of business (pharmaceutical supprt).

Look into Mitsubishi for the wire EDM. I had great results with a 4-axis back in the early 90's. Have not been involved since then.
