well my new project is to cut out a nautical star for a belt buckle and im using version 21 and bob-art...when I load the bitmap picture and vertorize the 2D, but when it vertorizes it makes the picture look terrible and theres zero straight lines left on it...im stil pretty new to bobcad and im tryin to be lazy and bring a picture into bocad from the internet and cut it without puttin a whole lot of work into it.....
thanks

yes if you can post or give a link to the picture it would help. if the contrast between the star and the back ground is low you can get very fuzzy edges.
somewhere there is an option to include or exclude arcs. you can also eliminate chains of less than a specified number of either pixels or entities or something i cant recall, changing these values will help eliminate the fuzz, however you may still not be able to extract sharp edges due to the graphic itself. if you can open it in a photo editor, place a small perfectly white dot on each corner or intersection of the star. now open in it bobart and the corners will now be very easy to extract, simply place a point on each corner and connect with straight lines. Im not sure what a marine star is, but perhaps it would be easier to draw one up in cad? Im gonna go see if i can figure out what a marine star is, good luck :)
