Heaps faster - and love the new intro screen - I noted I can't vote from the intro page and can't post a reply directly on that page either - maybe thats still being hacked - or it's not part of the plan - BUT THIS IS WAAAAYYY COOOOL!
Thanks for all the great work!
 Jim

Yeah, it's faster, but how do I get to the old home page with all the forums?

I can tell a big difference here at work, with DSL.

I bet at home on my #@!dialup it's still the same.

Wait until this friday, you will all be BLOWN away with how the site is gonna look! I only hope I don't have to work until 4am in the morning. :)

I have been on a few forums and even b4 you upgraded this one, I thought it was the fastest. I am stuck in 56k modem land, and this only takes seconds to change a page. Very cool.

I didn't think my home dialup (26.6) would be any faster, but it is.

Front page too wide. Can't see it all at 1024 x 768 (limit on my laptop)

CNCadmin

Can you still not see it? I'm looking on my laptop now with no problems.

The new server seems faster but the text size just got so small that I almost need glases to read it on my 20 inch monitor ( 1280 X 1024 ) ---the text was three time larger before

CNCadmin

You can increase the size of the text in your broweser, click view > text size > than chose the size you want to use.

Hmm, I don't seem to have the same problem and I'm on a 21" monitor. If your using a scrolling mouse you may have the screen zoomed out.

Yes I can. The first time the new page came up it was too wide, but when I went back after posting my message, I could see everything with no scroll bar across the bottom. Clueless.

Question: When I get the page with search results for new threads and posts, some of the titles are in bold, others are not. What does this mean?

Nevermind. I see.

Any way I can delete my own posts?

CNCadmin

No you can't delete your own post only moderators can.

Paul, you've done a great job, and it shows that you work hard at it :)

BTW, the text size option has no effect on the readability of the page.....well almost. It does make the bold numeral beside the page number such as the number 1 or 2, get bigger or smaller. :D

I'm working on getting the text bigger.
