Hi All,

I am thinking of getting this cnc mill on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160083951219&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1End

What I want to know is, if any learned forumers can advice me, is this cnc mill all I need to start cnc work? I.e. Do I need any other fixtures to add onto this mill for this mill before I can start using it?

Also, what other thing should I be looking out for? I know I need the end mills, collet and such, anything else I am missing? I understand its always good to have a knob on each axis besides the stepper motor for zero positioning. Does this mill have the knobs or I need to get them separately. Please advice. The seller is offering me and I need to make a decision asap.

Alex

deepgrove1 is a really good seller of taigs on e-bay he has the machines in stock and ships right away, Unlike other sellers that are just brokerning the machine and have verry slow shipping like a month. This machine does have the knobs.I put positioning knobs on all axes these knobs are sturdy and provide a balanced load unlike hand cranks which can create motor resonances. It says so in the auction. Also you will want to get a vice.

If you can aford it, he also has the ultimate fixture plate offered on his web sight.
