Hello,
I was hoping someone here may be able to give me some heads up info on a Bridgeport Series 2 R2E4. Specifically, I'd like to know how the control cuts, in DNC. I only ask, because we have a MX3 and 2 at the shop I work at, and if you let the control process the posted file vs DNC it, the machine actually pauses at every tangency in a 2D contour that you are cutting. Also, the placement of the control on the head is a bit different than what I'm used to. It has a BOSS 9 and EZ file and I believe it is around vintage 1985. Wow, I just realized that was the year I graduated HS (nuts) . In any case, I've got no practical experience with either, so any tips of do or don't in my expectations would be welcomed. For instance, will I be screwed in file size that I can post to the machine?
Finally, I'm not sure of the power requirements, but if this is a 208 Volt, can someone point me in the direction of a source to re-power it?

Thanks In Advance for the help,
Rob

not being a pain but click on search and type R2E4 and click go. that should give you a start. also these machines are getting old and the controls and front control pannels are getting fragile as well as a bunch of stuff the people are talking about those post's that you will find after you search
