Has anyone every used or bought a Way-Train bandsaw? I am looking at buying a brand new Cantek saw, they are rebadged Way-Trains. Same paint scheme and everything, just a different name on them.

I have never heard of them before, but I went and took a look at one and it seemed very good. Has all the options I want and is a very good price.

I had been looking at a Hyd-mech but for the same capasity saw in a Cantek i can save nearly $3000.

Any input or advice would be great, thanks.

Here is the Way-Train website, there from Taiwan

The oarnge and black machines are manufactured by Cosen. Very good quality machines. You can check out the web site at www.cosen.com. They are handled by Cosen USA in Charlotte, NC. I'm not too sure who handles them up in Canada, but you could just contact Charlotte and they can help you. I sell them in Illinois and Wisconsin and you get more for your money over the Hyd-Mech.

The Cosen saws dont look the same as the Way-train or the Cantek, the castings and frame look very different.

I was looking at a King flyer today and they look identical to the Cantek saws, they must be made at the same place.
