Quick question:
Why does the following program execute without having to press the START button? Just by pressing AUTO, the program executes.

On all of my Fadals the auto will act as start ( once in auto, so from manual you would hit auto twice to run) . But start will not act as auto. I don't see anything odd in the macro.

Your program is all macro statements and no G code statements. Macros are executed when the are loaded into the buffer. When you press AUTO the program is loaded into the buffer up to 255 blocks. Since your program is much shorter than that it is fully loaded into the buffer and processed.
