Is there a parameter you can change to disable the door switch on a Torque Cut? I can't see my edge finder with the door closed.

InspirationTool 02-05-2007, 09:15 PM I don't have doors on my benchtop mill, but I've got one of those electronic light-up edge finders, and I'm really liking it so far. I would think you could see it through plexiglass. -Jeff mlbz420 02-06-2007, 12:47 AM ditto on the unbolted door latch. Gncc50 02-06-2007, 06:36 AM Thanks for the replies. I have already unbolted the latch but sometimes I bump it and it comes loose. On my Fanuc Omd control there was a parameter that I changed. So I thought I'd give it a shot and try it with the Bridgeport. Thanks again. One of Many 02-06-2007, 10:38 AM When in the jog screen mode, the door interlock switch is not active on the 3 Torque Cut's we have. That is the only time we use an edge finder. These were electronic edge finders that I have modified to audible for Blind operators. DC |
