Radius 07-14-2007, 06:18 PM I'm in the process of trying to get one up and running. Maybe I can help you. Michael gridley51 07-14-2007, 08:21 PM Thanks Michael.I already know you have one as I was talking to you on another forum. My Ikegai is now away down the job list. Mark. Radius 07-14-2007, 10:36 PM Hi Mark.. Oops, I didn't realize. Sorry about that. :D Michael RLPattison 11-11-2007, 08:21 PM I was working an Ikegai FX20N - on a hot afternoon it stopped. I switched the whole thing off, had a cool drink myself and went back after 1/2 hour. It would not boot up again. I could not see any fuses which had blown or find anything else wrong. Any ideas? Thanks Rob Radius 11-12-2007, 02:04 AM I'll give it a shot.. What *exactly* does it do? Can you take pics of the display? What control does it have? Any alarms? Michael When I push the "on" button, it starts to go through the booting process, various lights come on, including the X and Z positions. It makes the noise as though the hydraulics are starting up, but then stops at that point. I can index the head around, can change the spindle speed manually, but the head will not traverse with the manual controls - in fact the manual controls on the lathe are dead. Only the head rotation and spindle speed work off the control panel. There is 4.9 volts to the display panel. Michael RLPattison 11-17-2007, 05:48 PM Thanks Michael The maintenance manual says "Fujitsu- Fanuk Ltd" Rob Radius 11-17-2007, 06:19 PM Thanks Michael The maintenance manual says "Fujitsu- Fanuk Ltd" Rob Does the control have a CRT or is it a single line LED display? Take a pic or two of the control. Most likely you have a servo error of some sort. Michael |
