I would like a quote on creating code/toolpath for a classical guitar bridge. I would like to be able to use it on my homebuilt 3 axis wood router. here is a picture of the bridge and my router.

Trainhound 01-31-2007, 01:43 AM right now I hold parts down with carpet tape. Yes my machine can do 3-axis and I use Mach 3 software to operate it. judleroy 01-31-2007, 01:56 AM Give me a couple of days and I'll give it a look. I'll post a txt. file with cutting instructions and code in a couple days. No charge. I also am working on a couple of guitar builds so I don't mind helping out. Trainhound 01-31-2007, 12:27 PM Thanks!! I really appreciate it! judleroy 02-08-2007, 01:02 AM Sorry its taken so long to get back to you. I tried to post early this week but there was some kind of prodlem with the forum. I see its fixed. Please let me know what tools you have and collet sizes available to you. Are you using metric or standerd tooling. Once I get this info I will post the code right away. |
