I bought (2) of these at auction,for $1.00 each.Can you mix and mactch parts with them"scales cables,etc" or do you have to have a complete unit? Thanks Chris

A couple of problems is 'reverse engineering' the scale pin-out/connections and another is wether the unit can be calibrated to the particular scale resolution.
Most scales conform to the same voltage/signal type ( 2 phase quadrature).

No scales came with it nor did any cables.Im hoping somebody has a set laying around for sale,trade etc.Thanks

Look on ebay under lathes or milling machines and look for DRo's

He lists scales for that brand they come from Singapore

Old product and discontinued. anilam wizard programable unit. very enviable item in its time !
the scale resolution is programable and you must provide TTL signals for them.

a-phase A
b-Phase B
c-5VDC
d-0VDC
e-Shield
f-Marker pulse.

if memory serves you have to press 8888 to acces the axis configuration.
