View Full Version : How fast is this? jmytyk 01-25-2007, 10:56 PM i like the motion of this, how fast do you think it is? especially at the end http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7801356142972031761 miljnor 01-25-2007, 11:13 PM Hard to say but I wouldn't say more the 700ipm but its probably slower do to the size of the machine maybe 300ipm. the g code says 10,000 units for feed. which if metric is about 393ipm so I would say thats fairly close. Madclicker 01-26-2007, 01:01 AM I doubt that's a real time video dertsap 01-26-2007, 01:45 AM interesting a pnuematic vice on a 3 axis mill ,hmm the posibilities makes me think of a mazak lathe i worked on with the robot loader miljnor 01-26-2007, 10:57 AM I doubt that's a real time video it looks fairly real time to me. But if you looke at the other video by the same group with the same machine cutting air, then you will see the feed rates going across the screen. F10000 if in millimeters is about 393ipm which isn't out of the realm of possibilities. And 393ipm also looks about right for the video, remembering that it is a small machine. |
