I am trying to find someone to machine a 16" X 2.5" aluminum rim blank for me. I am wanting 2 right now. I had someone rough quote $1000 for a complete pair but thats way out of budget. I will do the final machining of the center design so all I need is the blank with a hole in the center. I don't have the design completed but If someone thinks they can do 2 of them for less than $400 email me. If this project works out it will be an on going job.

I'm not sure anyone will be able to do it for that price. The material costs are going to be at least $400. Good luck with your project though.

From what I have heard on material costs it is going to be a dead project. Back to finding spoked rims to use.

3.00" is the smallest I can get in a 16" wheel. I can contact a friend of mine in Houston and see if he can cut (2) 3.5" waffers for you, you would have to turn the profile in a lathe if you can turn an 18" piece?. 16" wire wheels might be a problem as well, some of the older off-road motorcycles used a 16" spoke wheel but I believe they were 2.15" wide. good luck ! let me know

If I can get something close in spoke I should be ok. I can't turn an 18" piece. I can machine the design though.

If you can machine the design you should be able to do the blank in your CNC_Mill.
You may need to make a tool and do the machining with multiple setups.

If you have the rims, I can put the hole in the middle for $250.00.

$250 for 2 holes? I can bore 2 holes in an hour. This project is dead.
