Hey everyone.....been hanging around here for quite a while now, reading posts and gathering parts I have finally decided I had enough parts and knowlege to get started......well I have the parts anyway.

I have some screen shots of the Y & Z for a start but unsure how to
A: make them small enough to upload
B: upload them (have a pretty good idea)
currently they are saved in rtf and about 4800 kb and they are drawn in autodesk inventor

any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Jim,

I've never used Autodesk Inventor, but what you want to save the files as, or export them as is a .jpeg or .jpg file. Jpeg's are a compressed image file format that should be small enough to post on here.

Looking at my Autocad software, it looks like you can Export to Bitmap (bmp file)
If you can do that, you could then open the bmp file in Paint, and then save as a jpeg.

Paint comes with Windows, can you can find it in Programs -> Accessories-> Paint.
Or by simply going to Start -> Run -> and typing "pbrush" or "mspaint" and hitting Ok.

Hope this helps, Can't wait to see the drawings! :)
