Please help me with a couple of problems that I'm having with my Centurion 6.

When I power up the machine, the default jog speed is 50 IPM. I can't enable the fast jog button. I can manually increase the feedrate to 100 IPM, but I want the full version.

How do I fix this situation?

Also, how do I repeat information? Would that have to be a subprogram? By information, I mean a series of holes or a slot.

I've not had this mill very long, but I like it. I'm still learning how to program it.

I keep it in Level II and 3-Axis mode.

Rapids can be changed by going into the main param. to change how fast rapids are. Becareful when you change something here as it can mess it up!!! You cannot make it higher than it is made to go. Also unless the fast rapid button is messed-up.

Thanks for the advice. I can't find the screen to change the rapid number. I've looked many times.

I don't have a choice of which rapid button to use. The default is 50 IPM. The fast button may not work.

How do I fix the fast rapid function?

The info you need is in the parms. section.

1 Get to main screen.
2 F7 (Params)
3 F1 (set-up )
4 F1 ( level )
A "validation code:" type in "proto3" (with out quotes ) hit enter
B "access level" type in 3 enter
5 F4 (axis )
A curser down until you find "slow jog velocity" or "fast jog velocity "
B select the one you want
C F1 (edit) now you should be able to change X,Y or Z axis to the rapid you want.

After you are done just hit "esc" 2 or 3 times to get back to main screen.

Sorry I don't remember what max. rapids were for this mach., may want to ck. manual or call Miltronics.

You may have to restart machine to get changes to
get changes to take place. These 2 rapid params should be pretty safe to change as long as you dont go over max.

hope this helps

Awesome! LJ48, the validation code is exactly what I needed.

Thank you! :)
