In the middle of a cycle with our VF0 the spindle spun down and we got a 149 alarm with the saying "spindle running". We cannot get the alarm to go away. W have powered it down and even tried replacing the JVOP-100 board and it still is not right. Has anyone had this happened to them. Please Help production is backing up.

Yes had that problem on a fanuc 6m it was the magnet sencer on the spindle
to lockate the spindle position and after replacing it had to set the spindle drive
loop gain and drift. It might be a spindle drive problem or a poteneometer
adjustment. replace one on one of my lathes before.

What spindle drive is in your vf0. If it's a mitsubishi is the run connection reading High ie more than 1 volt
