hello everybody, this is my first post ever, so i have a few question to ask to all of you already expert in the matter. we just bought a masterwood project cnc router, we haven't received the machine yet, however i have already started getting acquainted with the software that runs it, Masterwork 310. i have gone trough the whole software and there seems to be no application to run a 3d surface program. i am farely new to cnc machining, but i am quite experienced in using 3d software for modelling (CATIA, IDEAS, 3DSMAX, RHINO). with CATIA, i can generate a simulation of a 3D program, and the realtive code to run a generic machine. however, i don't know if there is a way to import this code into the masterwork software to run it on my machine. i have asked masterwood about it, but they told me they only have a post processor for mastercam, and it's quite expensive as well... is it worh me getting mastercam, learning it and use their post processor or is there any other way around it. i am sorry for my ignorance, but as i said i am a total newbe to this discipline.
thank you all in advance for replying...

I have a 327 (which is probably similar to yours, only older). I've run some 3D code generated with Freemill (with a post I wrote), and may someday write a post to use MeshCAM. You'll just need to get a post written for Catia.

Probably from Catia.
