went to Louisiana today and got this mill so now what is the next step? This is to convert to CNC.

I can't tell if you have the same one as me or not. Your power switch is different. Is that the G1005?

Mine is a G1006. I did ballscrews and it came out pretty nice using double nuts and modifying the existing moglice nuts to take them (.625 ball screw)..

Yes, the 5/8" ball screws seems to be the de-facto size for the drill/mill. That is also what I used on my Enco.

ok I have this much dunn on the stand will start encloseing it today I need to get some things ordered but havent hered from Mr HomeCNC to get his plans and such and looking for the right ball screws and power supply and and such to get this project underway. My shop is in totaly destroyed till this is finished here are some update photos

I went to the grizz catalog and the measurements are the same exept the size of your table is larger but has the same travel

Mine has the same measurements as HomeCNC's enco so Im going with his plans to save the time of trial and error
