View Full Version : V19 printing?
inthedark 02-03-2004, 02:33 PM My version 19 is on a clone running 2000pro, I have a HP Deskjet 1220C connected with a USB cable.
My printer works fine with all other applications, but BobCAD V19 seems to split the screen image and print it backwards (ie. Top 50% on bottom, and bottom %50 on top).
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks
Jennifer 02-03-2004, 02:52 PM Sounds like you're just holding the paper upside down...I'm kidding. I haven't heard this one - they were having some printing issues, but I thought this was taken care of in the last patch. Have you downloaded the patches?
Jen
inthedark 02-03-2004, 08:49 PM Hmmm,
The patches?
Probably not the one I need,
Thanks Jen,
Kenny
inthedark 02-05-2004, 09:39 AM It's nice when you send BobCAD Support an E-mail regarding there most recent patch and they don't even respond...
Jennifer 02-05-2004, 09:55 AM Send an email to Chris (CNCdude) directly - he's pretty quick about getting back to you...chris@bobcad.com
I agree, contact CNCdude about your problem. He is "da Man" in my opinion. But, in the mean time, go to...
BobCadSupport (http://www.bobcadsupport.com)
You will see info about two V19 software updates.
V19.00.001 posted 11/20/03
V19.00.002 posted 12/01/03
I check this forum daily to make sure I get the latest updates as soon as possible.
inthedark 02-06-2004, 08:46 PM Thanks for your help, both patches did not do the trick. I will try to get a hold of Chris.
Sometimes it's easier just to work around the problem.
Please don't think that my intention was to bash the BobCAD folks. I am sure they are busy, and I have not pressed the issue with them. The support staff has been good to me when I do call 'em.
Thanks,
steele 02-06-2004, 09:37 PM My guy check a day or so ago and still no update avaliable for us to print w/ V19

inthedark 02-08-2004, 11:10 AM Ok, thanks Steele. I'm glad I am not the only one.
Kennys,
MikeT 02-12-2004, 02:28 PM I am running Win2000 and trying to print to a Lexmark Z54 printer. I get the following error:
The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
(0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x77fa144f.
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
Any ideas?
inthedark 02-12-2004, 03:03 PM Hey Mike,
at leat you are getting error messages. As far as I know, they are working to resolve the printing issues.
I have not heard back for about a week now.
to work around it I just do screen shots and paste it into a word doc.
MikeT 02-12-2004, 07:38 PM I just received an email that the latest patch (19.00.003) is out.
I've installed it and am now able to print.
Thanks
inthedark 02-13-2004, 10:27 AM Yeah that's great I am about to also,
Here is the link http://www.bobcad.com/updates/

Jennifer 02-13-2004, 01:00 PM I downloaded the patch and now my computer freezes when I try to print - anyone else having this problem?
inthedark 02-16-2004, 02:08 PM I'm not having that issue, there is something strange with colors.
But I'm not concerned about my issue, yet.
Kenny
CNCdude 02-16-2004, 02:40 PM Hello everyone. There will be another update in about 1-1/2 weeks or so. Have you noticed that we have added functions to the new revision? Surface functions as well as the extrude and fillet functions are new. More coming. Listen, if anyone has a question or comment, I am available at chris@bobcad.com. I will be sure to respond quickly.
Sincerely,
CNC Dude:D
