Anyone have experience prepping 2024 Alclad sheets for epoxy priming? Scoffing the shinny alclad with Scrothbrite works but is slow and any crevices that got missed have horrible adhesion. A light pass with glass beads (just enough to dull the surface) works REALLY nicely but I wonder about the process stripping the alclad. Any thoughts?

Alodine is the chemical surface treatment used in Aviation. Horrible stuff though. A carcinogen I believe.
