View Full Version : cent 6 I/O HANSENTECH 11-28-2006, 01:20 PM does anyone know how to modify miltronics hex file to change the I/O ? single phase 11-29-2006, 03:13 PM What do you want to change? HANSENTECH 11-29-2006, 07:17 PM I put a new spindle motor and drive unit in our mahine (old custom servo motor new fagor) and I need to change the spindle outputs I would like to have Y out 9 enable the drive when ever a CW or a CCW command is given then a 2 sec delay for X out 3(CW) or X out 4(CCW) analog command forward or reverse relays also spindle stop to turn off Y out 9 and X out 3 or X out 4 single phase 11-29-2006, 07:44 PM Why is there a change from the outputs that are already programmed? Did you pick the Y-out-9 , X-out-3 and 4 because they were used for the previous control? Maybe your new spindle motor control is programmable for the 2 second delay. Cheers Dave HANSENTECH 12-03-2006, 04:27 PM these are the original outputs used with the old drive the old drive did not hold the spindle when the spindle was not actually running where as the new drive does hence wanting to disable the drive when spindle is stopped. when drive is disabled spindle freewheels. this is why I want to change how the outputs react to the physical start and stop buttons and the programed m3 m4 & m5. I can make the programed m3 m4 & m5 do what I want with custom m code files but not the physical buttons. milltronics said the easiest thing for me to do would be to add some relays witch to me is B S there is no reason I should not be able to change the logic. I worked on other controls and have made logic changes without even having to talk to the manufactures. milltronics logic files are hex files which all you see in a text editor are letters and numbers. and without the proper software or knowledge about impossible to do anything with. |
