Hallo! Hellow!

Well i guess i'm more a reader :)

I like to start with a quote.

Why cnczone.com? Hell lot's of objective info
How i got in to cnc? One day i found the sherline web site.
Not that mutch interested in the cnc stuff back then.
But i found his book (http://www.sherline.com/business.htm). And yeah started reading and found it A very good read. He did convince me about the cnc is the way to the future (beat freakn china cheap stuff) and he has some real good points.

Goal:
One day produce my own stuff and see what would sell.

Stuff i want to make:
1.Reproduce rare motorcycle parts,
2.Name tag's for at houses
3.Some idea's-> cheap energy (wind mill, ...)
4.Prototyping

What size of cnc would i like to build?
Hmm start not to big. Start relative simpel.
-Total work size like a A4 paper page. And 10 cm high
-Stepper motor driven
-Alu cutting
-1000€ budget (+250€ reserve / extra tool's)

So far:
-I like X2 mill. Good base to build upon lot's of spare parts. Good price i think? +- 500€ and i can use it to build the convert parts i need.

-http://www.damencnc.nl/ is a nearby dude who has some nice stuff.
This set is recommended to those who are converting a small mill or lathe, or are building their own router. The stepper are powerful 1.0 NM units. The set is assembled and tested. The drivers have been tuned to the motors that are delivered with the kit. The set has provisions to switch spindle&coolant. Further there are three separate drivers, one for each axis. The option 1 kit has all three combined in one.

Brushed stainless steel housing. Lasercut unit. Has a very clean neat look.
3 x DCNC-57-610-01 double shaft 1.0nm stepper motors with 2 meters of cable and DIN plug. Ready to be plugged into housing.
3 x 2.1A stepper drivers
1 x Interface + 2 relays switch spindle or coolant
Ringcore& 45V,12V,5V DC 5A module
1 x Fan for cooling
4 x DIN plugs
6 limit switches
Provision for limit switches have been made. There is a 9 pins subd connector for this purpose on the interface.
Including all required cables LPT, Mains
MACH 2 configurations file, and technical support
659 €

But i still wonder if i would need some ballscrews?
http://www.damencnc.nl/images/16x5ballscrew.JPG

So 500+659 = 1159€
The combination of the 2 Sounds like a pretty good deal to me :)

Thank you for reading and let's say hello hello like the beatles :D
