I can't remember where I saw these tig filler "handles". My searches have come up empty handed. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Its like a mechanical pencil type thing, and you can push a button or something to feed the filler a little bit at a time, keeping your filler hand in a relatively stable position..............

Yes I have used one of those a long time ago, They were a pain in the back side compared to the full automatic tig.

Gary, you mean like a cold wire feed? I want something to help with tigging with some small .020, .030, .040-ish wire, by hand.

yes that is what I am talking about. After those we got some that had the wire feed tube attached to the tig torch, it could be swiveled around to any position so the feed could be in front of the direction of travel. These could pulse the wire or continous feed and also you could pulse the arc set delay arc on and off time. I dont think it would be that difficult to make a hand held feed. If that is what your looking to do.
