Ahhh Toby, you beat me to it! :)

We don't have Thanksgiving on this side of the water, but Dave from HCNC mentioned it in an e-mail recently. Anyway, HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOURS.

A gaggle of turkeys, or is it a flock of turkeys?

Anyhow, a bunch of birds are pictured.

Some of you might want to CNC cut this style!

Any TURKEY g-godes out there?

TURKEY g-godes ??????????????

I think I just cracked your secret code! (nuts)

You are looking for a "G = Girl"
............................ "Godes = Goddess"

There are pictures of them elsewhere on the 'Net' I'm told, but not here on the Zone. ;)

I have never been accused of knowing how to type or spell!
But I can do many other things exceptionally well like cutting metal!
The arthritis in my fingers makes it clubmsy for me to type on this little laptop keyboard!

I hope your hands hold up over the years! :)

Found a link for the turkey plans (some kind of paper/plastic patterns?) if anyone is interested. Plans are shipped and they want $14.00 US for them. To use for CNC they would still have to be scanned and converted to DXF or some other format before being able generate useable g-code. Let me know and I'll post the link if anyone wants it or can't find it.

To save the $14.00 I'd rather get creative and draw my own.

OH, and Happy Thanksgiving! Make sure you plan some time with your family apart from eating dinner. Remember, today is not necessarily the day to watch parades, or football, or do all of those other things you can't do because we spend most of our time working. Share Thanksgiving with those you care about and give thanks that they are there to share Thanksgiving with you. May your day give you happy memories that you and yours can enjoy for years to come.

I didn't mean to offend, but rather that was an attempt at humor. My apology is offered, if it came across improperly.
My knuckles & elbows also have regular visits from "Art."
I have fat fingers that have been known to hit the wrong keys as well.

Apology Accepted! ( I was a little abrupt and aplolgize as well!)
Its been really cold in Florida 45-65 deg, and my knuckles are hurting alot lately! All that street scrapping I did as a teen is finally catching up with me! !(nuts)
Not to mention hammering the vise handles closed with my fists for 30+ years

What I was really trying to say is, are there any G-Codes for making Turkey's?
We have had posts for making SnowFlakes out of CD's (perfect for AOL)

Happy Thanksgiving to all here on the zone. Those of us here today are either trying to avoid the inlaws or remembered to take our turkey no-doze.hammering the vise handles closed with my fists for 30+ years

Eric

Oh the things we did when we were younger. BTW a rubber mallet is easier to use than your fist.
