Hi,

I have absolutely no knowledge of this, but I need help and will try to explain the best I can.

I have been given some ppf files that I had been told, contained drawings of some small tools I may want to have made. Now I googled ppf's and found out that they are edgecam files. I have never used this before, but simply what I want to to get the drawings (if that's what they are) printed so I can examine them before going to an engineering firm to have the tools made.

Does this make sense to anyone? Any advice?
Cheers

Have whoever gave you the files to send you files in a format you can open.

I would, but that's just not possible I'm afraid. This is a one time deal sadly. Thanks though. Any other ideas?

Have an Edgecam user on the zone open the files and save them in a format you can open, then e-mail them back to you. If your feeling especially generous you could post it as a Request For Quote !! :D

Unfortunately, I dont have Edgecam.

Edit: Maybe start a new thread called "Can someone convert EdgeCam files for me please" in the EdgeCam forum....

how many files are we talking about?
I can probably convert them for you.

What format can you read?
