hi from frank
I am currently working on multicam cnc 2400 x 1200 table & am having problems with a project.
using 2400 x 1200 x 12mm MDf board to drill dowel holes in rails 1400 x 75 x 70 & 338 x 75 x 70 solid timber oak, have made jig in 12mm board . 10 rows across 1200 side have trenched out size+.5mm 3mm depth 7 island cut centre of trench 1mm deeper leaving 8mm shoulder all round also have drilled 8mm hole over suction holes leaving 2mm short so no dust will get in suction holeshave remover spill board and using 12mm board direct on table.
problem board cups and suction seems to not hold board properly.
any suggestion on board maybe plywood or ?

Dont use wood
use HDPE or other synthetic as used by pro CNC'ers.
Am not sure of what type is best for your app though...
May I ask what type & size of Vacc pump used?
