Want to build or retrofit a desktop, table top or small mill? How about building a table top router or sign making machine? Is your head spinning about the electronics part of the project? CandCNC has stepped up with a cost effective solution that lets you concentrate on the mechanical part of the build.

We have integrated the popular Xylotex bipolar stepper drive unit with our Dual Port Interface (Mini-IO Combo Unit) all in a compact package. 3 or 4 axis capability in a single package. Everything is included but the wires to your motors; Dual fan cooling, Enclosed power supply, isolated inputs, remote relay card, and second port I/O for our 20 function pendant/handwheel.

We will even match the unit up with stepper motors we recommend (preset the current) so all you have to do is connect 4 wires on each motor and load a MACH3 profile and you are good to go.

So if you are working/thinking about a Taig, Sherline, X2, or other small or midsized mill or router you can skip all of the electrical/electronic stuff and the frustration of trying to make things work together.

Works with MACH3 controller software. MACH3 available for $100.00 with the purchase of the package.

Since posting the announcement for the Integrated 4 Axis Xylotex box (basically our Mini-IO-Combo/Super Combo package with the Xylotex Drives installed with cooling fans), we have gotten several calls and e-mails from Xylotex owners that want to build their own integrated unit. As a result we have added a new product to the Mini-IO line that is a Xylotex Mounting plate (3 or 4 Axis 3525 series cards) and a wired dual high CFM fan package. The plate comes with the standoffs and screws for all of the cards and if ordered with any of the MINI-IO packages in the case comes with a new back panel for the Xylotex. Price is $26.95 for existing cases/units and less than that when purchased in a bundle with the Mini-IO-C and Mini-IO-SC units. It's designed to fit into the instrument case we use with those units.

Information on the Mini-IO product line including the new Xylotex plate/fan kit is at: http://www.CandCNC.com/Mini-IOProductsChart.htm

Specifics about the plate and other accessories are at: http://Xylotex-MPlate+Fans.htm

The base Mini-IO Combo or Super Combo (includes the 20 function pendant) comes with a small axis breakout board to interface directly (via screw terminals) up to 4 gecko drives (any series). That leaves you with needing a DC power source. The basic supplies you see listed on EBAY that will best match to the servo motor voltage you need would work. Our PSC-650 does interface with the Mini-IO products but may be overkill for waht you need. What are the specs on the servo motors and I can give more meaningful answers.
