I have made during last years more then 100 retrofits of asian turret mills and bed type mills. In all applications I used the precision rolled ball screws from Rockford Ball Screw Co. The final accuracy of the machine tool in majority of cases was better than needed. In exeptions I closed the loop with linear scales. I used the retrofit kits from Servo Products Company (www.servoproductsco.com).

It took me normally not more than 2 days to finish the installation and put the machine into operation. Both RBS and servo will supply the kits to fit exactly your requirments.
