View Full Version : Fanuc G75 Grooving Cycle post processor rk176 11-04-2006, 05:13 PM Hi Im looking for a post for a fanuc 21i which has the the g75 groove cycle or just the code that i can add to my own post if this is posable with featurecam thanks RK duluthboat 11-06-2006, 08:38 AM The 21i post I have doesn’t use a canned cycle for grooving it computes the groove using its own feature. Canned cycles are great for MDI but if you use CAM software they can be tricky. Gary rk176 11-07-2006, 04:23 AM Thanks for the reply Gary We use g75 alot when we rough grooves as we do all our programing on the machines at the moment.I was looking to keep the code the same but the computed cycle worked fine on the test part (no reason why it shoudn't) A cam system is going to be a big change for us and is getting met with a little resentment at the moment as we test different systems RK duluthboat 11-07-2006, 08:00 AM RK, I understand completely, I look forward to the day when the Cam software is integrated directly in the controller.
