Does anyone have listings of casting suppliers in Canada? I'm looking at maybe casting a couple pc's of alum but don't have anything to do it w/ as of yet. I'm looking for suppliers for refractory and crucibles and sand etc.. I've got lots of old trany's and engines which I plan to bash up into smaller pc's and re-cast into something usable.

Thanks!
Jerry

Thanks Weldtutor... I took a look, unfortunatly it looks like that site is more for pottery and smaller stuff, they only sell fire bricks not a pourable [like cement] refractory.. Look's like I'll have to keep looking..

Jerry This link might help for your supplies.

It is an associate of PSH, who do in fact supply
castable refractories, but you need to send them an email to request info for items not shown in their catalogue & web listings.

I'm a long ways away Luke, I'm located in Sask. so pretty much far away from anyone who sells this stuff.. [or so it would appear] I've got a couple email out to people, we'll see how it goes. I might just put this whole casting thing on hold until I am better set up to do it.
