Dear Forum,

I am facing a problem with my mits fx2 wire edm machine. When my operator program and cut the part, it either gets off center or the cut is taper even after aligning the wire.

Could it be the problem of water chiller as been told to us by 1 engineer who visited and checked the machine. Any feedback and suggestion to alter any parameters etc is highly appreciable.

i hardly saw your thread...some times i have the taper results as consecuence
of a wrong e-pack vs stock height, but its a .001" or .0015" taper, and its most frequent in taller stocks. about 2 or more inches, so..what kind of taper do you have?
and what do you mean whit off center? the cut does not coincide whit the origin?
