Hi, I am looking at purchasing a Behrens Turret Punch from the early 80's and it is equiped with a GE 1050 controller. I don't know much about the older controllers and I didn't know if it was possible to interface this controller with a PC and run a newer punching program with nesting software? Or do you have to program a controller like this right at the machine. I just want to have some good some idea of what to look for before I talk seriously with the guy selling it. Thanks in advance for the help.

A thing to consider with this control is its age and the ability to obtain parts and find anyone who can service it. That could be why the guy is selling it.
