When I saw a DC (?) servo motor on "Hurco MD1" mill, I was surprised!
What kind of motor is inside? It must be DC servo motor, but it has six wires!
I never saw something like that. Maybe I am wrong? Is it brushless DC motor....?

2 are power
2 are tacho
and the last 2 are a thermal trip switch
