View Full Version : Manual lathe conversion to CNC -

We've got a manual 13x40 Acra lathe (gear driven) and was wondering if there was anyone that makes a ballscrew & motor drive kit for this standard size lathe? It seems that there are a few software makers like Mach3 that look pretty good but need the other pieces to the 'puzzle'.

Lathes are not easy to fo "bolt on" CNC conversions to CNC. To understand why, look thru these:
