We are putting together a thread for suppliers of the parts in Europe for solsylva tables. Please let us know where and what parts plus the costs of anything you buy for these tables - so at least we all know where we can get stuff.I will also have a set of links on my website which will help.

I have started to compile a list of places to purchase products from and I started with the bearings ,I spoke to several companies who gave out such a range of prices it was just unbelievable. however one of them said I could re-sell (This was not my intention when I set off) Anyway if you guys want the bearings I will sell in packs of 50 for £40.00 including post & packaging in the UK.

As you can see its a good price and I am just trying to cover the costs plus a small margin - hope this helps everybody

This supplier is in the States, but ships to Europe without a problem. I bought my Full 3 Axis Kit from them and it arrived within 3 weeks.

I had a bit of trouble finding a 220V > 24V transformer (Shown below) at the correct amperage for my driver board, but I found a UK supplier who shipped to Ireland and bought from them off e-bay. Transformer arrived in good condition the following day.

I bought a bridge rectifier to add to my transformer for my Driver Board here, and some other electronic bits. I think they have an outlet in the UK aswell.

I also bought a smoothing/filter cap for my driver board from here. They sell online but are based near me so I dropped into them.

Nema 23 stepper motors - I have had som much trouble finding a decent price for these motors in the UK that I have decided to import them and make them available from my website www.uk-guitarshop.co.uk .Not got a full cost yet but guess they will be about £24 plus carriage each - I am trying to get the price lower. What I did find is that when you import stuff you obviously have to pay import duty and freight then you add it all up and have to pay the flipping vat on top of it all .HMCE rules eh!always blame the governement

I dont know what countries the B&Q stores are in apart from Ireland & the UK, but I bought my threaded bar from them, along with my aluminium channel, angle, and tubing. And also a variety of machine screws, nuts, bolts etc.

I bought a flexible coupling from rp-mechatronics in the UK (Will post link tomorrow).
