Hello...
I'm very new to machine makers (I design). I'm looking for the name of the machine which crimps tin canisters and the lids together (ie. hairspray and lid, bottom of a shaving cream and lid). I wish I had a better example.

Basically taking a raw tin canister and sealing/crimping a lid to it. Makes a lip.

Any information would be greatly appreceated.

as far as I know those machines are custom built to the can manufacturers specifications, there is no generic machine(lathe, mill)
