My company has a Milltronics Parter I Centurion V and it says on a plate

1E
Seriel NO.
2338
Date of Manufacture
337

It's a decent machine, small, but decent. Does anyone know anything about this machine such as what that 337 means or what this machine might sell for?
My company wants to sell it and are looking for buyers. Anyone interested?

You could call Milltronics. I did this just today, reading them the serial number and date code, and learned the service history of the mill I'm picking up soon. Fortunately, good records!

Hope this helps.

Good idea thanks... I sent them an email. It might be easier to set an asking price once I find out some more info about it.

No problem. I was quite pleased with the phone support from Milltronics today. I was able to learn a few inside details about the mill I'm buying as well as determine what kind of support was available.

Just a guess, but from what I have gathered over the years, this could be from the 37th week of 1993?

Rough used price range 3-9k depending on condition and options.

That makes pretty good sense to me. My new machine shows a date of mfgr. of 844, and is listed as a 1998 machine. So, the 44th week of 1998 is pretty solid logic. Nice tip!

Night5hift,
I know someone who might be interested. Where is the machine located? Can you send me some pictures? Can you load for shipping?

The machine is located in South Western Ontario and shipping can be arranged I'm sure. There are several tool holders for it in a variety of sizes up to an inch however the machine does best with .750" and under tooling. Thats machining D2 A2 4140 and such. The spindle hits 10000 rpm. It has a coolant tank, air lines are all there, X axis has 24.5", Y 15", and 19" in Z. I might be able to thrown in a small vise as well as some clamping. Asking price is $7500.CAD but no reasonable offer will be refused.
