Ive got most of the parts cut and ready for assembly but I'm a bit confused on one thing.... the drawings don't show any way of attaching the cutting bed and base support structure to the bearing and motor side supports... might be a stupid question. what am i missing here?

thanks

Definitely not a stupid question. The method of attachment is not specified in the JGRO drawings (at least none that I've ever seen). I used 1/4"-20 x 2 1/2" (or 3") bolts with washers on both sides and a nut to attach the cutting bed and base support to the end supports. See attached pictures. Of course this requires drilling extra holes. What I did was set the base on the surface that the router was going to be set up on, pushed the supports up to the ends and centered them, marked out the holes and drilled through the supports and base for each hole. I then flipped the supports over an replaced the base support with the cutting bed and repeated the procedure. Then everything gets bolted together. You can just barely see the cutting bed bolt heads in the enclosure picture.

From what I've seen of other JGRO build pics, almost everyone else has used a similar attachment method for the bed, base and end supports.

A solution that is both inexpensive and effective. Hope this is the information you're looking for.
