Hey Dave, have a look at this thread :

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3125&page=5

Last couple of posts on the last page, Lachlan (LPNMB) has posted a nice list of suppliers, I have checked a few, he did his homework.

As for DIY machines, mine is here :

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22101

Although I can't say I used any plans, just kinda made it up as I went along (ya I know it shows!)

Nearly finished, just gotta put in leadscrews, steppers and hook it up (and stand back...)

If you want some plans, do a search for JGRO, free plans, MDF construction and the finished machines are pretty sweet, although the measurements are in inches.

I think joe2000 has free plans as well, his 2006 model as he calls it is very nice as well.

If you start building, make sure to post heaps of pics !!

Russell.
