This is probably easy but I cannot find it. Is it possible to drag a selected item or entiety to a new position in BobCad V21. The Cad program I used to use allowed you to select then drag an item to a new position which is great for design when you are looking for cosmetically pleasing rather than high positional accuracy.

Yes, V21 has this feature. Select your entity>Menu>Change>Translate>Snap>Ok
Also Download Sorin's Videos they are very helpful and in Depth. But do it A.S.A.P. He will be changing them soon. Post #58

Thanks for that. I'm downloading now and just tried the translate feature. Sketch is the one I wanted rather than snap. No wonder I couldn't find it I was looking for [MOVE] in the menus.

It takes time to learn like anything else. Remember to have a little fun with it and you will learn more and at a faster pase.:cool:

new software can be a pain but you'll get the hang of it
