View Full Version : BP BTC 2 stepper drives? DennisCNC 08-14-2006, 06:33 PM Do the drives on a BTC 2 take step and dirrection signals or something else? Thanks colin1544 08-23-2006, 04:28 PM Hello dennis the btc 2 had servo drives the earlier series II NC machines had stepper motors I have had one of each of these that is how I finished up with the set of tooling unfortunately I never got the BTC2 up and running and it was sold off and I believe it went to the middle east but I kept the tooling and also a fourth axis rotary table which went elsewhere in the UK, the series II NC I had with stepper drives which were on the X, Y, Z Knee with air assist it also had the quillmaster unit which was an air hydraulic cylinder which powered the quill and had a rotary turret with depth stops on it very useful it also had the C 6 option which gave it the same controls as a Boss 6 and I was able to link a pc to it and download and edit programs to it great machine but again house moves forced the sale of it know I am down to a series 1 which had a boss 5 but has know been converted to an Ajax CNC system which gives alot more power to the machine. So if you interested in the tooling set please get in touch. Cheers Colin DennisCNC 09-11-2006, 10:46 PM Hey colin, I emailed you a few times about the holders let me know what shipping will be to Florida USA.
